Music
|
BBC Radio 1
On BBC
Radio 1 they play songs that can be listened to by people aged 10-30 because
the songs sound suitable for the younger generations as they are playing
chart music back to back (around 2-3 songs back to back) which are all in the same genre.
The songs vary from rap songs to classic songs to new and up to date pop
songs in the breakfast show there is a lot of music which is aimed at all
ages. Constant music in the background.
Example:
Calvin Harris, Dua Lipa one kiss
Heart FM
On Heart
they play songs that are suitable for all ages but if I had to put a target
audience it would be between 13- 40 and mainly people with kids, I think this
because the songs that are being played are not as up to date as the songs on
BBC Radio 1. The songs play back to back and have a different style/ genre
but are similar to make it flow natural. It also has constant music playing
in the background.
Example:
Rag n’ bone man Human
